In 1969, Dr. Lindsay Guthrie received his dental degree from the University of Alberta and then practiced general dentistry for 9 years in Edmonton. He then headed to the United States to complete his orthodontic residency and earned his Master’s degree a the University of Illinois. He returned to Edmonton and joined Empire Orthodontic Associates in 1980 and has been a certified specialist in the orthodontic community since then.

Dr. Guthrie maintains his knowledge of the dental profession with memberships in the Canadian and American Associations of Orthodontists, Alberta Society of Orthodontists, Edmonton and District Dental Society, Illinois Orthodontic Alumni Association, and the Alberta Society of Dental Specialists.
